Sardines with Preserved Lemon and Chives

Tapas are small dishes, appetizers, or snacks typically served on the bar at restaurants and taverns in Spain. Tapas can be cold dishes such as olives, Jamón, and cheese or served hot, such as croquettes, fried calamari, or patatas bravas.

For this recipe, I will show you a quick, easy, and delicious snack using canned sardines and preserved lemon mixed with fresh herbs from the garden.

Chef notes:

If you are not a fan of sardines try this recipe with canned tuna or salmon as a substitute.
